Research Institutions, Universities and Guest Reseachers, Commercial and Industrial Enterprises: Cooperating with KIT, this is the essence which Dr NAVEEN GUPTA plans to imbibe in IEC Group of Institutions

IEC Group of Institutions looks up at KIT as a strong FUTURE PARTNER FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION. With Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and Universität Karlsruhe two equally strong partners have merged in the Karlsruhe Institute of Technologie (KIT). In regard to its three guidelines research, teaching and innovation KIT relies on strong partners: in scientific networks, in close collaboration with numerous universities and research facilities all over the world as well as in co-operations with economy and industry.

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is one of the largest, and most prestigious research and education institutions in Germany, The KIT is one of the leading universities in science and engineering in Europe, ranking 6th overall, whereas IEC Group of Institutions has been ranked as No2 in the NORTH Region of INDIA.

KIT offers FREE Research facilities to its Professors and has agreed to work on areas of common interests between KIT and IEC. In order to give a boost to the present research activities in-house to IEC Dr Naveen Gupta is of the opinion to share mutual expertise and further leverage on the strengths of the Partner Institutions’.

The meeting for working together on Research and Development was held between DR Naveen Gupta and Dr Prof Michael Grosse. It was agreed that IEC Group would also identify students who would like to go and study at KIT in the fields of ENGINEERING and PHYSICS. In view of this IEC has already opened doors to Indian students to learn German Language at IEC University as the first step towards this effort. IEC will also focus on interdisciplinary research and education.

The meeting concluded with Dr Naveen Gupta pinioning that” In addition to this IEC is leveraging its efforts towards establishing a center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation” which would contribute towards incubator research for INDUSTRY
